Glam Rock

This tutorial was written by me for those that have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

 Any similarity to other tutorials is not intentional.

Supplies:

Tubes of Choice. I am using Ismael Rac. If you want to use the same tubes you must purchase them, and have license to use them from Here.

Scrapkit - I used an fantastic kit called Glam Rock by Vicki, Which you can download Here. Thank you for this beautiful kit.

Template - I used template 62 by Melissa you can get it Here.

Mask of choice. I used Mask 57 which you can get Here.

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Angelina.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template and delete the credits layer.

Now go to layers - add a new raster layer and flood fill with white, Then go to layers - arrange - Send to the bottom.

Copy and paste paper 9 just above the white background layer, Go to layers - New mask layer - From Image - Then in the pull down menu find your mask - Source Luminance. Invert mask data NOT ticked. Merge group. Resize 95%.

Ok now we are going to add papers to all the template layers, We do this by clicking on each layer and then going to Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat, copy and paste your paper then go to Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key and select none, And delete the original template layer.

Ok now add these papers to the following layers:

Raster 4 - Paper 3.

Raster 2 - Paper 1.

Raster 3 - Paper 5.

Copy of Raster 3 - Paper 5.

Raster 1 - Paper 2.

On the merged layer (the 2 circles), Go to Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat then Layer - New Raster layer and flood fill white - Select none. Delete the merged layer.

Now add 1 or 2 tubes of choice into the circle frame.

Add your main tube and place where you like.

Copy and paste Element 3 as a new layer, Resize 60% and place at the bottom left of your tag.

Copy and paste Element 1 as a new layer, Resize 50% and place in front of Element 3.

Copy and paste Element 4 as a new layer, Resize 30%.

Copy and paste Element 7 as a new layer, Resize 27%.

Copy and paste Element 24 as a new layer just below the white circles, Layer - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Ok now any other elements that you like.

Now I like to sharpen each layer except the mask and the sparkles layers so to do that just go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and do this to all the layers I find it makes the tag look much more clear.

Make sure you add dropshadow to all the layers as well, I always use 2, -2, 34, 3, Black.

Then add your name with a font of choice I used Angelina.

Make sure to add your copyright.

Hearts Delight

This tutorial was written by me for those that have a working knowledge of Paint Shop Pro.

Tube of Choice. I am using Jose Cano. If you want to use the same tube you must purchase it, and have license to use it from Here.
 

Scrapkit - I used an fantastic kit called Hearts Delight, Which you can download Here. Thank you so much for this beautiful kit.

 

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow + Muras meister copies.

 

Font of choice, I used Valley Forge Font.

Ok lets get started.

 

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

 

Copy and paste frame 8 as a new layer, Resize - 75%, Using your magic wand tool with the shift key held down select inside the frame

 

Then go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 20.

Copy and paste paper 2 as a new layer, Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key then select none. Now move this layer below your frame layer.

 

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and place inside your frame.

 

If you wish you can add a second tube at the bottom like I did.

 

Copy and paste Butterfly 3 as a new layer, Resize - 70%.

 

Open Flower 4, Resize - 30%, Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and add Muras Meister Copies - Encircle on the default settings. I will post a screenshot below just to make sure you get the right settings:

 

 

Now copy and paste as a new layer just above your background layer, Resize - 82%.

 

Ok now add any other elements that you like and add your name I used a font called Valley Forge Font.

Queen Of Cute

Mask of choice. I used WSL_Mask130 which you can get Here

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

 

Font of choice, I used Aspire

Ok lets get started.

 

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

Open WSL_Mask130.

Copy and paste paper 1 as a new layer, Then go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image. Find the mask in the pull down menu Source luminance and Invert Mask Data NOT ticked, Merge group. Resize 105%.

Copy and paste frame 2 as a new layer, Resize - 73%, Using your magic wand tool with the shift key held down select inside the frame

 

Then go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 6.

Copy and paste paper 5 as a new layer, Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key then select none. Now move this layer below your frame layer.

 

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and place inside your frame, The tube I used came with the little dog so if you want to use it you will have to buy the tube sorry.

 

Open element 1 and copy and paste the I Love You wordart as a new layer, Resize - 70% and add Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow using these settings:

 

Copy and paste element 10 as a new layer just above your mask layer, Then go to Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - Left 90. Now go to Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

 

Ok now add any other elements that you like and add your name I used a font called Aspire.

 

Make sure to add your copyright.

Emo Diva

Template - I used template 63 Melissa by can get it Here.

 

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Moi Non Plus.

 

Ok lets get started.

 

Open your template and delete the credits layer (raster 9), Raster 4, Copy of Raster 3 and Copy of Raster 2.

 

Now go to layers - add a new raster layer and flood fill with white, Then go to layers - arrange - Send to the bottom.

Ok now we are going to add papers to all the template layers, We do this by clicking on each layer and then going to Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat, copy and paste your paper then go to Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key and select none, And delete the original template layer.

Ok now add these papers to the following layers:

Template - Paper.

 

Raster 8 - Raster 11.

Raster 6 - Raster 5, Resize 70%.

Raster 1 - Raster 4.

Raster 2 - Raster 12, Resize 70%.

 

Now on Raster 3 flood fill with #f04c89. And add your tube of choice inside the frame.

 

Now add your main tube.

 

Now we open up our elements, And copy and paste Raster 7 as a new layer just above the background layer and place at the top right of your tag, Then go to Layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror - Image - Flip.

 

Copy and paste Raster 10 as a new layer just above raster 6.

 

Copy and paste Raster 31 as a new layer and place at the top of your tag.

 

Copy and paste Raster 17 as a new layer, Resize 90% Image - Mirror and place just above the square frame.

 

Now I added Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow to all the template layers and the butterfly using these settings:

 

 

 

Now add any other elements that you like.

Now I like to sharpen each layer so to do that just go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and do this to all the layers I find it makes the tag look much more clear.

Make sure you add dropshadow to all the layers as well, I always use 2, -2, 34, 3, Black.

Then add your name with a font of choice I used Moi Non Plus.

Make sure to add your copyright.

Nature

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Cheyenne Hand Font.

Ok lets get started.

Open WSL_Mask178.

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

Copy and paste paper 2 as a new layer, Go to layers - New mask layer - From Image - Then in the pull down menu find your mask - Source Luminance. Invert mask data NOT ticked. Merge group. Then layers - Duplicate - Image - Mirror.

Copy and paste Frame Wood 2 as a new layer, Resize 110%.

Now using your magic wand click inside the frame. Now go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 20.

Copy and paste Paper 7 as a new layer, Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key - Select none. Move this layer below the frame layer.

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer and place inside the frame.

Copy and paste Sheep 1 as a new layer, Resize 50% and place at the bottom left of your tag.

Copy and paste Sheep 2 as a new layer, Resize 50% and place at the bottom right of your frame.

Copy and paste Fence 2 as a new layer, Resize 70% and move below the sheep layers.

 Copy and paste frame 4 as a new layer, Resize 35% and place on your fence we will use this to add our name to.

Copy and paste Sun as a new layer, Resize 50% and place at the top left of your frame.

Ok now any other elements that you like.

Now I like to sharpen each layer except the mask and gradient circle layers so to do that just go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and do this to all the layers I find it makes the tag look much more clear.

You & Me 4ever

I made this one for my mum and dad.

Supplies:

Tubes of Choice. I am using Keith Garvey who is my all time favourite artist. If you want to use the same tubes you must purchase them, and have license to use them from Here.

Scrapkit - I used an fantastic kit called L'Amour, Which you can download Here. Thank you for this beautiful kit.

Template - I used template3 by Cindy & Kat you can get it Here.

Mask of choice. I used WSL_Mask4 which you can get Here.

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Bankoli Bold.

Ok lets get started.

Open your template and delete the credits and the brush layer, Then resize 85% with resize all layers ticked.

Now go to layers - add a new raster layer and flood fill with white, Then go to layers - arrange - Send to the bottom.

Ok now we are going to add papers to all the template layers, We do this by clicking on each layer and then going to Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat, copy and paste your paper then go to Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key and select none, And delete the original template layer.

Ok now add these papers to the following layers:

Black Shape - Paper 9.

Left Small Rectangle - Paper 4.

Pinnk Square2 - Paper 4.

Pink Square1 - Paper 4.

Both White Stripes - Paper 9.

Ok now we are going to colorize the wordart and the mask to match our tag. To colorize you just go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize and use these settings:

Hue - 0 Saturation - 184 on the following layers:

4ever

Wordart

Gradient Circle

Vix Mask

Now if you wish you can add a tube in the left pink square but you dont have too. I also deleted the Heart2 layer as it was covering the tube.

Copy and paste element2 as a new layer, Resize - 45% and place at the top left of your template just below the word "Its".

Copy and paste element124 as a new layer, Resize - 18%, Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - Left 3 and place just below your tube in the pink square.

Ok now add your main tube and any other elements that you like.

Copy and paste element18 as a new layer, Resize 98%.

 

Copy and paste element19 as a new layer, Resize - 75%.

 

Ok now add your tube of choice into the frame.

 

Copy and element2 as a new layer, Resize - 45%, and place at the bottom left of the frame.

 

Copy and paste element7 as a new layer, Resize - 40%, and place just behind your cards at the bottom left.

 

Copy and paste element1 as a new layer - Resize - 85% and place at the bottom right of your frame.

 

Copy and paste element12 as a new layer, Resize - 30%, and place just in front of the cake.

 

Now add any other elements that you like and resize if desired.

 

Next I always go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and I to this for all layers as well as adding drop shadow for this tag I used 2, -2, 34, 3 colour Black.

 

Then add your name with a font of choice I used FmiringCampotypeOne.

Just a simple quick tag

Mask of choice. I used WH - Mask25 which you can get Here.

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Joe Hand 2.

Ok lets get started.

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

Open WH - Mask25.

Copy and paste the first paper as a new layer, Then go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image. Find the mask in the pull down menu Source luminance and Invert Mask Data NOT ticked, Merge group.

 

Copy and paste glitteredconfetti as a new layer, Resize 90%.

 

Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.

 

Copy and paste all 4 balloons as a new layer, Resize 40% and place them all at the top right of your tag.

 

Ok now add any other elements that you like and then add your name, I used a font called Joe Hand 2 but you can use which ever one that you like.

Ok now resize if you wish and I always go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and I to this for all layers as well as adding drop shadow for this tag I used 2, -2, 34, 3 colour Black.

Make sure to add your copyright.

Green Fairy

Mask of choice. I used WH - Mask21 which you can get Here.

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Monika Italic.

Ok lets get started.

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

Open WH - Mask21.

Open paste paper* (The first paper in the folder) and resize 17%, and then copy and paste as a new layer, Then go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image. Find the mask in the pull down menu Source luminance and Invert Mask Data NOT ticked, Merge group.

 

Copy and paste frame4 as a new layer, Resize - 27%.

 

Now using your magic wand with the shift key held down click inside each square of the frame make sure you get all of each square. Now go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 10.

 

Open paper9 and resize 20%, Then copy and paste as a new layer, Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key - Select none. Move this layer below the frame layer.

 

Now using the same method add a tube to the top and bottom square. But instead of expanding by 10 this time expand by 2. For the middle square I resized precious panda0 10% so it looks like its just lying there.

 

Now add your main tube over to the right, Adding your tube now will give you a better idea of where to place the other elements.

 

Copy and butterfly3 as a new layer, Resize 9%, Then go to Image - Rotate - Free Rotate - Left 8.

 

Copy and paste Ribbon, Ribbon0 and Ribbon1 as a new layer and resize 14% and place at the bottom of your tag.

Ok now resize if you wish and add any other elements that you like,Next I always go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and I to this for all layers as well as adding drop shadow for this tag I used 2, -2, 34, 3 colour Black.

 

Then add your name with a font of choice I used Monika Italic.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Mask of choice. I used WSL_Mask351 which you can get Here

Filters - Eye Candy 4000 gradient glow.

Font of choice, I used Catholic School Girls.

Ok lets get started.

Open a new image 550 x 550 colour white.

Open WSL_Mask351.

Copy and paste paper 15 as a new layer, Then go to Layers, New Mask Layer, From Image. Find the mask in the pull down menu Source luminance and Invert Mask Data NOT ticked, Merge group.

Copy and paste Double Circle frame as a new layer, Resize - 45%, Using your magic wand tool with the shift key held down select inside both of the circles in the frame make sure that you select all of the circle.

Then go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 10.

Copy and paste paper 3 as a new layer and resize 70%, Selections - Invert - Hit the delete key then select none. Now move this layer below your frame layer. Now using the same method add either one or two tubes into the circle frame.

Copy and paste Wordart frame as a new layer just above the mask layer, Resize - 85%. Ok now go to Adjust - Hue and Saturation - Colorize and enter Hue: 228 + Saturation: 255.

Ok now add your main tube and resize as desired.

Copy and paste Lippy Mirror as a new layer, Resize - 30% and position at the bottom left of the frame.

Copy and paste Lippy as a new layer, Resize - 22% and place beside the lippy mirror.

Copy and paste Butterfly as a new layer, Resize 35% and position at the top right of your tag.

Ok now add any other elements that you like and then add your name, I used a font called Catholic School Girls but you can use which ever one that you like.

Ok now resize if you wish and I always go to Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen and I to this for all layers as well as adding drop shadow for this tag I used 2, -2, 34, 3 colour Black.

Make sure to add your copyright.
